Course Curriculum
Module 1: RHCE Fundamentals and Basics
In this module, you will learn about the RHCE fundamentals and basics required to become a certified professional, etc.
Module 2: System Configuration and Management
In this module, you will learn about configuring aggregated network links between two Red hat enterprise linux systems, configuring IPV6 addresses and troubleshooting, create static routes, firewalls and associated mechanisms, configuring the system to authenticate to kerberos, etc.
Module 3: Network Services
In this module, you will learn about the installation, packages needed for the service, configuring SElinux to support for the service, configuring the services when the system is to boot, configuring the services for basic operations, configuring host based and security for the service, etc.
Module 4: DNS and NFS
In this module, you will learn about configuring and troubleshooting DNS client issues, quick NFS set up, Kerberos NFS server and client, providing network shares to specific clients, etc.
Module 5: HTTP/HTTPS
In this module, you will learn about the installation and configuration of apache, configuring private directories, virtual host, group managed content, deploying a basic CGI application, configuring TLS security, etc.
Module 6: SMB and SMTP
In this module, you will learn about the providing network shares to specific clients and for group collaboration, SMTP set up and client testing, etc.
Module 7: SSH and NTP
In this module, you will learn about the configuring the key-based authentication, NTP set up local time server and peer with new time server, etc.
Module 8: Database Services
In this module, you will learn about installation, configuration of MariaDB, configuring and installing local and remote mariaDB clients, creating simple database schema, performing SQL queries, backups and restore, etc.
